Departing Coonabarabran we set a Westerly course for Tooraweenah climbing to our cruising altitude of 4500’ – this is an ideal height for enjoying the spectacular Warrumbungle Ranges, whose tallest mountain (Mount Exmouth) peaks at 3957’. Turning North East at Tooraweenah we begin our extraordinary experience of one of NSWs most stunning ranges. Over flying Crater Bluff and the Breadknife, we admire the beauty of the Warrumbungles as we pass near level with the tip of Mount Exmouth. We wave at the tourists as we cruise past Sliding Springs Observatory and shoot out over the endless expanse of trees that signal the start of the Pilliga Nature Reserve. Your 20 minute joy flight in our comfortable five seat Cessna Crusader will leave you humbled at the spectacle nature provides in the local area. Don’t forget your camera!
